Student Opportunities
At the College of Charleston, we're all in on experiential learning. As an educator, you know that hands-on experience is critical to landing your perfect job. These real-world learning opportunities are built into the curiculum, but there are also so many opportunities outside the classroom to get experience.
Consider one of the following programs:
Call Me MISTER - aims to increase the number of teachers from a broader and more diverse background, particularly in the state's lowest-performing elementary schools.
Teaching Fellows - take control of your education by attending professional conferences and finding a support system among other future educators.
Teacher Leaders - fosters the professional development of highly motivated students by providing them with challenging, extracurricular opportunities in the education community.
