About the Teacher Employment EXPO

The Office of Student Services and Credentialing at the College of Charleston's School of Education, Health, and Human Performance is proud to host this event that connects College of Charleston graduating students and alumni with school districts who are seeking to fill teaching positions. The Teacher Employment EXPO is a great opportunity for schools and districts to meet with a large pool of professional, highly qualified educators. Over a third of our attendees at the 2019 Teacher Employment EXPO scheduled follow-up interviews with schools and districts. At least 15 percent of our attendees either signed a contract at the 2019 Teacher Employment EXPO or signed a contract immediately following the event.

The College of Charleston's Department of Teacher Education is a strong nationally accredited program that prepares students for initial cerfification in early childhood, elementary, middle grades, secondary, special education, world language, physical education, and performing arts.
