Associate Professor

I am associate professor of education with over 20 years of teaching and research experience in diverse educational settings and levels including Kenya, Canada, United States and Namibia. I have experience as a curriculum developer and program evaluator. I have an interdisciplinary background with an undergraduate degree in mathematics and chemistry. I am interested in how organizational structures influence students' learning. In addition, I am interested in cultural and environmental issues especially as they pertain to indigenous persons. I am the advisor of project harambee student organization. For the past four years, students have raised over 100k to travel to Kenya to work on various projects-medical, agricultural and building.
